maxDate doesn't work currently with nearest date

maxDate attribute doesn't work currently with nearest date. For example: min date is current date (Jul 20, 2021) and I am using Jul 23, 2021 as max date.

Expected behavior: dates between min & max dates are available, others are disabled.

Actual behavior: all dates are available.

No errors/warnings in console.
