Pi Node Won't Activate

I was able to get Pi Node to relaunch by completely uninstalling it from Mac OS with an app cleaner. Now I have a different problem, where the app won't activate. I launch Pi Node, click "Login", and get my activation code. Then I open the Pi app on my phone, use the hamburger menu to choose "node", and then input the code from the desktop app into the mobile app. The mobile app says "Your code is submitted", but the desktop app never activates. I've waited DAYS and it just spins saying "Waiting for authorization".

How do I get this to activate? If I put the code into the mobile app again it gives me an error that the code has already been used, so it knows I entered it. Why isn't the desktop app activating?
