File comparison speed

Right now I am not sure if this project is real or not, but if it is real, could a speed comparison be given? My gut feeling is that accessing higher and higher areas of Pi would be slower and slower, so the filesystem would also be less performant the more and more data is stored already. Thus, a speed comparison table may be useful here on the main README.
