[BUG]: Spongebob Squarepants : Lights, Camera, Pants ! Inputs not working for a specific menu.

Describe the Bug

Hello,

First of all, I apologize if that's not the appropriate procedure for this.

I have had a peculiar issue when trying to play "Spongebob Squarepants: Lights, Camera, Pants!" (French Version). Controller works fine anywhere in the game except in a specific menu. What is annoying is that this menu is the one necessary to play the game. I have found another user who encountered this very specific issue here : https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Stuck-on-play-training-screen-on-Spongebob-Lights-Camera-Pants , but there are no solutions on this thread.

I use PCSX2 v2.3.212 (x64) and BIOS version Europe SCPH30004R.bin v0.160(04/10/2001) Console 20011004-175839 with Fast Boot enabled.

OS is Windows 11 10.0.26100 Build 26100

I tried using OSD to see if my inputs were registered correctly and indeed they are. I can cycle through the options in the menu (see screenshot below) but can't advance or back out of the menu.

Any help is appreciated.

Reproduction Steps

1. Launch Game
2. Go into "Scenario" mode
3. Play first mission
4. Problematic menu pops up

Expected Behavior

After problematic pops up, pressing X on any option should advance the game.
