A bug recently appeared in Fediverse that allows people to use the same username as users who are already authorized to use Fediverse. I recently encountered this issue and hope you’ll fix it. In my chat, there were both real users and fake accounts, and they were displayed as a single person, which is why I can’t ban the troll specifically. This issue has already been fixed in many instances of ActivityPub, so I think you’ll be able to fix it easily.
