How to reproduce

on a periodic fashion, the ripple fuzzy skin always messes up some layers displacement, which is pretty visible on the finished product.

Actual results

on a periodic fashion, the ripple fuzzy skin always messes up some layers displacement, which is pretty visible on the finished product.

Expected results

the displacement should not reverse directions.
