Describe the problem you're observing
It looks like upstream zstd is considering a patch to CPU feature detection with some impressive performance gains. I do not understand the compression code at all, but it appears the same code may exist with the ZFS clone of zstd, and was hoping someone could consider if the patch is relevant here.
