Checklist for next release (no timeline yet):

• Check deprecations - consider removal
• Check MCAD link
• Update translation files
• Update cheat sheet
• Update manual
  • Make sure added/removed/changed features (language, cmd-line and GUI) are changed
  • Replace {{requires|Development snapshot}} with new version reference
• Update copyright year in all place visible within the app
• Update src/AboutDialog.html with changes to libraries, people etc.
• Update doc/openscad.1 with new cmd-line arguments
• Update openscad.appdata.xml
• Update RELEASE_NOTES.md (#5511)
• Refresh GnuPG key and update CI and download pages
• Cut a RC branch and build RC binaries
• Update changelog
• Prepare news entry
