What platform is your computer?

macOS 27 Public Beta

What issue are you seeing?

The macOS desktop app's red, yellow, and green traffic-light window controls are visible, but clicking them does not perform their expected actions.

The affected controls are:

  • Red: close the window
  • Yellow: minimize the window
  • Green: zoom or enter/exit full screen

This is a functional click-handling issue, not a visual clipping or alignment issue.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open the Codex desktop app on macOS 27 Public Beta.
  2. Locate the red, yellow, and green traffic-light controls in the title bar.
  3. Click each control once.
  4. Observe that the corresponding window action does not occur.

What is the expected behavior?

The traffic-light controls should respond to clicks normally and perform their standard macOS actions: close, minimize, and zoom/full screen.
