issue: Share still shows in the function menu when Community Sharing is off
Before Submitting
- I searched open and closed issues and discussions for an existing report.
- I reproduced this bug on the latest release AND on the current
devbranch, right before submitting this report. I did not just check an old version or rely on a check from days ago. - I understand that maintainers want a well-written issue before any code pull request.
- This is not a security vulnerability.

Summary
With Community Sharing turned off in Admin Panel > Settings > General, the function menu in Admin Panel > Functions still offers Share. Clicking it opens openwebui.com in a new tab and sends the function's code to the post form there. The model, prompt and tool menus hide Share when the setting is off, and so does the "Made by Open WebUI Community" link on the Functions page itself.
Expected Behavior
With Community Sharing off, the function menu has no Share item, the same as the model, prompt and tool menus.
Actual Behavior
The function menu still shows Share, and it still opens https://openwebui.com/functions/create with the function filled in.
Steps to Reproduce
- Sign in as an admin.
- In Admin Panel > Settings > General, turn off Community Sharing and save.
- Open Admin Panel > Functions. The "Made by Open WebUI Community" link at the bottom is gone.
- Open the menu on any function. Share is still listed.
- Click Share. A new tab opens on openwebui.com with the function's code in the post form.
- For comparison, open the menu on any tool in Workspace > Tools. There is no Share item.
Logs, Screenshots, and Config
No errors in the browser console or server log. Default settings apart from Community Sharing.
Additional Information
The model menu was gated in 0b9c6466c and the prompt and tool menus in #10783. FunctionMenu.svelte never got the same enable_community_sharing check.
