Description of the Issue

Hi Secondary plugins—such as NppPlugins:Git (NppGit, GitSCM), AutoEasiest/AutoSave + ComparePlus, Location Navigate, and AJC Active Backup—fail to record and save logs because Notepad++ does not grant them the necessary permissions; they ought to be able to save data and display logs. Furthermore, plugins like AutoSave can cause Notepad++ to crash, trigger automatic file switching, fail to function, or introduce bugs—issues that currently persist.i

Steps To Reproduce

Secondary plugins—such as NppPlugins:Git (NppGit, GitSCM), AutoEasiest/AutoSave + ComparePlus, Location Navigate, and AJC Active Backup—fail to record and save logs because Notepad++ does not grant them the necessary permissions; they ought to be able to save data and display logs. Furthermore, plugins like AutoSave can cause Notepad++ to crash, trigger automatic file switching, fail to function, or introduce bugs—issues that currently persist.

Current Behavior

Expected Behavior

These extensions—and any others of this kind—require full access and permissions to display content without interruption. Extensions like AutoSave should not cause Notepad to crash, automatically switch between files, malfunction, or trigger errors; yet such issues currently exist—and while I do not know the cause, these problems need to be resolved.
