Rapid tab switching kills the whole window

Hey,

when I switch really fast between two tabs the page freezes after some clicks.

This does only happen in my chrome 153.0.8010.37 or Edge . In Firefox i have no problems. For older chrome versions, I have no clue.

This bug is reproducable in nearly all versions of ng-bootstrap, down to at lease 12.x

Reproduce:

Open https://ng-bootstrap.github.io/#/components/accordion/overview and switch rappidly between tabs 5-10 times
