Music Stops Playing

The app will be working fine. Then I will pause the music for whatever reason and resume playing when I'm ready. After a minute or two, the music stops playing altogether spontaneously. The play button will still be active, displaying the pause button, but the time code will be frozen and no sounds will be heard. I can then pause the song and select something else and it will play but the same thing occurs.
