Is there an updated version with refreshed dependencies?

I noticed that most dependencies in this package have not been updated for a while. Is there any plan to release a new version with updated dependencies, or is an updated branch available?

Keeping dependencies up-to-date would help users avoid security vulnerabilities and compatibility issues.
