just a recommendation: you can add linux support for brew

Some distros like bazzite runs on a fedora silverblue like distros that has read only system, we need to install apps with these options:

  • flatpak: takes too much space per app because it installs all dependecies per app like docker (bazzite uses marketplace named Bazaar, its same with ubuntu marketplace except only for flatpak).
  • distrobox (its actually okay but a little bit complicated and we need to know exact executable).
  • brew: its just a okay program, uses user space to handle programs. I mostly uses brew to install programs when available.

but when I try to install this app with brew, it says its only available on mac, so maybe you can add linux executables to that brew repo.
