(recently added?) annoyance when adding a start marker for a new segment

The fewer issues I have to read, the more new features I will have time to implement, so I ask that you please try these things first

• Try with the newest version from GitHub (also it might have already been fixed in latest nightly build)

• This problem happens with all kinds of files that I try. For problem only with a particular file or type, use this other form instead

Steps to reproduce

When pressing the "Start current segment at current time" button a new segment will be created, Unfortunately an end-marker will be set automatically as well. If I now move the start marker by pressing the "Start current segment at current time" again this works fine within 10 seconds time. If I want to move it for more than 10 seconds the segment is not updated but a new segment is created instead.

Whenever I cut long skydiving videos this leads to many unused small segments that I have to delete manually later. This very annoying for my workflow. IIRC that worked better in earlier versions.

I suggest to let the user set the segment end-marker manually or set it to the very end of the video by default.

Expected behavior

The start-marker of the currently active segment should be updated every time the "Start current segment at current time" button is pressed.

Actual behavior

If the "Start current segment at current time" is pressed after more then 10 seconds a new segment is created automatically and the old segment has to be deleted manually.
