Description of the new feature / enhancement

Let users rename monitors in Command Palette's Dock settings, with the same name shown in the on-screen identification label. For example, I could name a monitor Desk monitor or Wireless display.

There should also be a way to restore the default name. If a monitor has no hardware-friendly name, give it a saved label such as Display A instead of using a Windows display number that can change after reconnecting.

Scenario when this would be used?

I use a Miracast display that Windows can assign a different display number after reconnecting. Even when its Dock settings are preserved, a changing display name makes it harder to recognize in Dock settings. Hardware model names can also be less useful than names based on where I use each screen.

Custom names and stable defaults would make it easier to pick the right monitor when configuring its Dock.

Supporting information

I opened #50842 with an implementation before opening this issue. I'm adding the feature request here as requested so we can discuss the behavior.

The PR includes a before/after screenshot and keeps the name changes separate from monitor identity matching.
