QuickAccent Activation Key via hold key

Description of the new feature / enhancement

the current QuickAccent activation sequence is not super intuitive. MacOS has solved this gracefully by popping up accent options when you hold a key down. In Windows, this just causes key repeat to happen, which I don't ever use (except in the case of non-accent keys like backspace, delete, nav keys like arrows/pg up/pg dn, etc.).

It would be awesome if there were a way to make the QuickAccent activation trigger off a held key as an alternative to the current options. I would happily trade away key repeat for this functionality.

Scenario when this would be used?

anytime QuickAccent is used for me.
