Scrolling Performance Issue on Static Landing Page (GPU Compositing Causes Scroll Lag)

AOS version: v2.3.4

Issue: The landing page experiences noticeable lag/stuttering while scrolling. The issue occurs consistently on a fully static landing page and impacts the user experience.

Environment Application: Landing Page Page Type: Static Browsers Tested: Google Chrome Safari Issue Reproducibility: 100%

Steps to Reproduce Open the landing page. Start scrolling from the top to the bottom. Continue scrolling normally. Observe intermittent scroll stuttering/lag.

Investigation Performed

The following checks were completed: DOM Elements: 553 (within a reasonable range) Images: 30 Active Animations: 22 Issue reproduced in Chrome and Safari Issue occurs on a static page (no API calls during scroll) Performance profiling indicates increased GPU activity during scrolling JavaScript execution is low and does not appear to be the bottleneck CSS filter: blur() on background orbs was removed for testing, but the issue persisted

Observation

Based on browser performance profiling: The slowdown appears to occur during GPU compositing/rendering while scrolling rather than JavaScript execution. The issue is likely related to rendering/compositing of page layers or CSS visual effects and requires further investigation.
