Translate documentation into Brazilian Portuguese

My name is Juliana Pereira and I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker.

I've noticed that this project's documentation is only available in English, and I would like to contribute by translating it into Portuguese. I believe this would help the Portuguese-speaking community use and contribute to the project.

Do you accept translation contributions? If so, is there a specific process I should follow or a particular tool you use?

I'm ready to start as soon as I get the green light.
