Proxy: extstore hits leak references with internal lookups

If a proxy server is set up to use its internal cache (mcp.internal) and extstore is in use, it leaks refcounts and doesn't work.

Just a quick note for tracking. I have details locally. can't recall offhand if this only affects V1 or V2 APIs or both.
