Advanced Web Interface: Adding emoji from panel into post frequently places it incorrectly

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Use the advanced web interface in recent builds (4.7.1 on sunny.garden exhibits this)
2. Write text as a new post with multiple screen lines.
3. Try to insert an emoji at the insertion point on the last line.

Expected behaviour

The emoji should have inserted at the insertion point.

Actual behaviour

The emoji gets injected a line above.

Detailed description

In newer Mastodon versions (v4.7.1 on sunny.garden exhibits this), adding emoji from panel into post frequently places it incorrectly.
