Wallpaper popup not showing

Describe the bug
Even though i activated the option "Home Screen > Edit pop-up menu items" > Wallpaper quick picker The wallpaper selection is not shown whenever i long press on the home menu.
Steps to reproduce
"Home Screen > Edit pop-up menu items" > enable wallpaper quick picker (that's the default option anyway)
Then go to home screen and long press to show the popup menu
Expected behavior
a preview of latest used wallpapers should show up
