microphone during calls is extremely low

The main issue with the bug is that when using a web based meet service like meets.google.com you almost become impossible to hear

reproduction should be easy:

1. use the Mac integrated microphone (this is how I found the issue)
2. login to google meets on pc
3. create a quick meet (easiest way to replicate)
4. join from another source ie: your phone or another computer
5. audio from microphone will be significantly quieter when the application is open
6. close the background music app and everything goes back to normal

whatever the latest version is as of June 9th 2026

only notable hardware spec is that I was using the builtin machine microphone from a MacBook Pro
