#7655 feat(entity): English Wikipedia mainspace is empty; Wikidata items lack press citations (P1343)

Severity: P2. Split out of #7373, which is otherwise closed. The schema and Wikidata work shipped; this is the residual, and it is off-repo work requiring a third party.

Checked via the MediaWiki API, not web search — web search returns false negatives here:

list=exturlusage&euquery=worldmonitor.app → exactly 1 hit, and it is Wikipedia:Requested articles/Applied arts and sciences/Computer science, computing, and Internet — a project-namespace wishlist. It went nowhere; no editor picked it up.

So: worldmonitor.app is cited as a reference on zero live Wikipedia articles, and Wikidata Q141237754 has zero sitelinks.

Why this is the remaining ceiling

The entity work in #7373 is done — sameAs → Q141237754 on the product node, a disambiguation string naming the impostor properties, verified-owned SDK edges, the WIRED URL linked. What none of that fixes is that AI systems resolve entities most strongly through Wikipedia, and three direct competitors have articles while we do not:

Combined with a six-way name collision (worldmonitor.io, world-monitor.app, worldmonitor.apposters.com, an impostor GitHub org whose slug matches our domain more closely than our own repo path does, a SourceForge mirror, two app-store listings), there is no authoritative anchor to break the tie. This was the single largest deduction in the round-5 Brand Authority score of 58/100.

Notability is comfortably cleared

All independently verified as real articles that genuinely discuss World Monitor:

The Economic Times

Four of these are tier-1 independent sources with non-trivial coverage. That is a stronger sourcing base than many existing software articles have.

Recommended approach

Draft the Elie Habib biography first, not a World Monitor product article.

A BLP anchored on Anghami (NASDAQ: ANGH) plus World Monitor is easier to source and far easier to sustain against deletion than a product article, and it carries World Monitor as a section. The organisation Wikidata item — the thing #7373 was originally about — then follows naturally from the article, and Q141237754 gains its sitelink.

Constraints that matter:

⛔ We cannot write it ourselves. COI rules are enforced and a self-authored article is likely to be deleted, which is worse than not having one. This needs a genuinely independent editor.
Do not attempt to seed it via the requested-articles list again — that was already tried and produced nothing in the intervening period.
The realistic path is an editor who already works in this topic area choosing to write it, given the sourcing above.

Explicitly out of scope

Do not file P1889 "different from" work on Wikidata. P1889's datatype is wikibase-item, so it takes a Q-number, not a URL — P1889 → worldmonitor.io cannot be written. Making it executable would require creating Wikidata items for the impostor domains (wbsearchentities returns 0 items for them today), which would manufacture canonical entity identity for the exact domains contaminating our navigational query and feed it into the Knowledge Graph.
