Slideindown animations not working correctly in V2

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

In velocity v2 (latest update) the animation sequences look the same. They all just behave as fade in, not as slideinout slideup etc. I've seen issue about slidein not working in Velocity v2 and we should use the animate.css syntax in order to work, but the animations somehow are not correctly being displayed.
