request: pure Ruby pkg generation

The macOS pkg generator relies on shelling out to Xcode utilities (pkgbuild), vendor locking to macOS.

Requesting a pure Ruby implementation, so that developers can build Mac installers from other operating systems (Linux, Windows, non-Mac BSD's, etc).
