10.11.0 - Exepected to find only .jellyfin-transcode but found marker for /cache/.jellyfin-cache.

Description of the bug

After updating from 10.10 to 10.11 some stuff happened while it seems to have correctly migrated the database.
The stuff being:

  • Login didn't seem to last a page reload
  • In the admin dashboard, left side, the routes/storage usage was loading infinitely
  • No media could be played with a source error (don't remember exactly)

Related to #12832 probably.

Solution is to separate the two paths (cache and transcoding at least).

Important that is not mentioned in https://jellyfin.org/posts/jellyfin-release-10.11.0/, closer thing is Additionally, checks are implemented to prevent certain path misconfigurations that are known to cause issues.

Also, it is spelled like that in the logs.

Reproduction steps

  1. Have transcode path being inside cache:
    • Cache at /cache ; Transcode files at /cache/transcode
  2. Update to 10.11

What is the current bug behavior?

Jellyfin starts but in an unusable state

What is the expected correct behavior?

Either jellyfin doesn't start or warns in dashboard to make the change.
