MacOS stuck on "Input Leap is starting"

What happened?
Downloaded Input Leap on Windows and MacOs. Windows started fine, but MacOS is stuck on "Input Leap is Starting". It also won't let me stop or reload the app. I have to force quit with command.
There was one instance where it checked for fingerprints, but this did not make it work either.
