[Feature Request]: To be able to change the term used to refer to the sources ("Fig.X")

Hi
Currently, the system automatically uses the term "Fig.X" to refer to the sources.
"Fig" is not always relevant, typically when the source is text.

Describe the feature you'd like

So it would be nice to have a more universel term (for example maybe just numbers between square brackets [X] ? ), or possibility to choose between several terms / formats in settings. Thanks
