Watermark Text enhancements

Hi all!

We would like to understand watermark text capabilities. It's clear to us that we can use Pango Markup to enhance the rendered text, however we would like to understand if with Pango we are able to achieve our target result.

We would like text to automatically go to multiple lines if it does not fit one line, while keeping the same dimension (we are currently using wms to specify dimensions) We also would like text to be ellipsized if it does not fit the maximum number of possible lines (according to the box size)

We know that the result is more a "overlay" than a "watermark", but watermark has many of the features we already need so we're trying to understand is this could be achievable as well.
