line of Hyphen "-" disappears after 14 chars

Describe the bug Consecutive Hyphen Characters disappear after going over 14 chars
Expected behavior "--------------" vs "---------------" the strings are consisting of 14 and 15 hyphens respectively. the latter one disappears afterwards. this causes issues for pacman progress bars.
