recover lost bookmarks

Describe the bug / actual behavior

when trying to login, the user is not validated. recreated the user via web interface (was not present) but bookmarks are gone

Expected behavior

see old bookmarks

2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error
