Bug: screen set to be turned off, but starting an app from Android Studio, it sometimes gets turned on
Environment
OS: [e.g. Debian, Windows, macOS...] Windows
Scrcpy version: [e.g. 2.5] 4.1
Installation method: [e.g. manual build, apt, snap, brew, Windows release...] It's a zip file. I just extracted it...
Device model: Pixel 6
Android version: [e.g. 14] 17 (CP3A.260905.009)
Describe the bug
- Use this command, which turns off the display of the device while mirroring.
C:\android\scrcpy\scrcpy-noconsole.vbs -S --always-on-top --stay-awake --no-audio --keyboard=uhid --no-mouse-hover
Or, just start ScrCpy.exe, and then turn off the display using the shortcut of ALT+O, so the console would show:
...
C:\android\scrcpy\scrcpy-server: 1 file pushed, 0 skipped. 38.5 MB/s (733706 bytes in 0.018s)
[server] INFO: Device: [Google] google Pixel 6 (Android 17)
INFO: Renderer: direct3d11

[server] INFO: Device display turned offHave the device reach lock-screen UI. I don't think this occurs when it's not locked. Note that I don't use a "secured" lock screen (no password, pattern, etc...). Just swipe-to-unlock.
Start app via Android Studio, using the "play" button.
The bug is that sometimes (not always), the device's screen gets turned on as the app starts.
I don't know of any workaround for this. It didn't occur about 2 months ago...
