WhatsApp add number screen unresponsive

Describe the bug
Trying to press or type in WhatsApp's add number screen is completely unresponsive.
Whenever i press using scrcpy, this appears:
Failed to write to node: /sys/touchpanel/double_tap with value: 1, fd: -1
