Custom DNS OK Android 5 but not Android 11

Sorry no-one could help. It seems genirehtet does not work properly with android 11 on a motorola Kr

I would welcome a little help please.

No problems custom DNS with Samsung running Android 5 eg gnirehtet restart -d 999.999.999.999 gnirehtet relay Ctrl c n gnirehtet relay (normally needs twice relay)

and using android11 on motorola with the built in 8.8.8.8 DNS eg adb shell am start -a com.genymobile.gnirehtet.RESTART -n com.genymobile.gnirehtet/.GnirehtetActivity (thx to whoever posted this)

gnirehtet relay Ctrl c n gnirehtet tunnel gnirehtet relay

but not with a custom DNS, tried everything i can think of

Any ideas?
