Utilize Gems as currencies to spend on Cosmetics?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Right now, recently even, dev.to has the Gems feature where Community Curators can give gems to an article/comment that is high quality. It's been mainly used to filter out AI generated/low effort content. I would love to see more features where we can make this much more exciting.

Describe the solution you'd like We should use Gems that users earned as a currency on dev.to where we can spend those Gems on cosmetics to look pretty on our profile. This can range from profile icon ring animations, special backgrounds, etc. My wish list on getting started is the following:

• Community Curators will unlock these cosmetics automatically.
• Special backgrounds instead of generic color backgrounds to make each profile more unique. The highest cost feature will be adding your own background.
• Ring colors! Animation and other styles is up to the DEV/MLH team.

That's the general gist of this feature. Was hoping to provide feedback and other things to note! Looking forward to this :)
