docs: 9 broken image references in two blog-article examples (notebook_files/ and images/ never committed)

Author: auroraxoCreated Sep 27, 2026Updated Sep 27, 2026

Describe the bug

Two exported blog articles under examples/blog-articles/ reference generated notebook images that were never committed to the repository. All referenced directories are missing:

examples/blog-articles/mastering-map-endpoint/mastering-map-endpoint.md references:

markdown
![…](notebook_files/image.png) (line 65, and again line 442)
![…](notebook_files/notebook_42_0.png) (line 276)
![…](images/stripe_docs.png) (line 452)
![…](images/pydata.png) (line 470)

examples/blog-articles/mastering-scrape-endpoint/mastering-scrape-endpoint.md references:

markdown
![…](notebook_files/notebook_96_0.png)
![…](notebook_files/notebook_22_0.png)
![…](notebook_files/notebook_20_0.png)
![…](notebook_files/image.png)

Both directories contain only the .ipynb and .md files — no notebook_files/ and no images/ subdirectory. All 9 image URLs return HTTP 404, and a code search finds none of these filenames anywhere in the repository.

When reading either article on GitHub, every diagram, screenshot and Sankey visualization in the post is a broken image — the visual half of two otherwise good write-ups.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open https://github.com/firecrawl/firecrawl/blob/main/examples/blog-articles/mastering-map-endpoint/mastering-map-endpoint.md and https://github.com/firecrawl/firecrawl/blob/main/examples/blog-articles/mastering-scrape-endpoint/mastering-scrape-endpoint.md
  2. Observe the broken images throughout both articles.
  3. curl -o /dev/null -w '%{http_code}\n' https://raw.githubusercontent.com/firecrawl/firecrawl/main/examples/blog-articles/mastering-map-endpoint/notebook_files/image.png → 404 (same for the other 8 targets).

Expected behavior

The articles render their images, or they don't reference files that aren't in the repository.

Suggested fix

Either commit the exported notebook_files/ and images/ directories (re-export the notebooks with outputs if the originals are gone), or replace the broken image tags with the alt-text descriptions that are already present.
