Cannot copy from micro

Describe the problem: [I can't copy text from Micro. when I yank the lines, the system clipboard has no content of it]

To Reproduce: [ open tabby and connect open a file with micro choose a few lines copy use ctrl+shift+c,, right click context menu, or copy if selected no content is copied and paste fails ]

The text below copies just fine from the terminal shell:
