Restore does not work

I have seen other people reporting failures to restore but they don't seem to match what I see - which is a sudden inability to see any of my backups listed.

Environment info

• Duplicati version: 2.3.1.0 - 2.3.1.0_beta_2026-07-28
• Operating system: Arch Linux
• Backend: local filesystem (I have a separate system for copying it offsite).

Description

The restore fails to "see" the backup - it says that there is nothing there. "Repair" does nothing, "Delete and repair" also does nothing; though they both flash something in the progress window momentarily. When I use the new UI, there's even less feedback - it just says tha tthere is nothing "there".

The backups say that they have been succeeding, and a restore worked perfectly last month. This month - "nothing" is there.

Debug log

I've turned on the debug logging but I don't think it even gets that far and I don't know where it writes the files, in any case.
