ctrl+f does not work in annotation view

The version doesn't so much matter as this seems to be a fundamental issue with how the frontend is rendered.

Basically, if annotating a long document, the search function accessed via ctrl+f does not work because the frontend only has the text currently on screen. This is quite a bit of a problem, since searching for a word in a document is essential functionality.
