[Localization] Word wrap in the character panel since 1.5 for Greek - What options do we have beyond just cutting letters?

When I did the Greek localization for 1.4, I ended up with a character panel with no word wraps. Now in 1.6-dev and 1.5.5 that I checked, I see lots of word wrap, in the level, vitality, Armor class and Resist lightning fields.

Apparently something was changed for font rendering, or the font itself.

What options do I have to fix this. I could cut more vowels to make it fit or use other wording which would be bad, but do the work.

The problem is small, because those fields are just short of a single letter, but I can imagine other localization languages also suffering.

I would really like it if something else can be done: make the font smaller, more condensed or anything else - Just a note.
