Buster appears to lower reCAPTCHA v3 score on WordPress site (no recent extension/plugin/browser update)

Hi,

Buster (v3.4, last updated June 20) is currently active in Edge and is interfering with reCAPTCHA v3 on a WordPress site I manage. Specifically, on the wp-admin login page, entering correct credentials and clicking the login button does nothing — the button appears completely unresponsive, as if the click isn't registering at all. In InPrivate mode or in other browsers, the login works normally with the same credentials.

Environment:

WordPress: 7.1 reCAPTCHA plugin: "reCaptcha by BestWebSoft" v1.87 (June 2026) Last checked: September 14, 2026

What makes this unusual: the issue started recently, but nothing on my end changed to trigger it:

Buster: no update since June 20 reCAPTCHA plugin (BestWebSoft v1.87): no update in several months Edge: updated it to test, issue persists identically

Since none of these changed, this looks like it may be related to a change on Google's side (reCAPTCHA v3 scoring/algorithm) that now flags Buster's presence/behavior on the page more aggressively than before — rather than something in Buster itself changing.

Steps to reproduce:

Enable Buster in Edge Go to the wp-admin login page (reCAPTCHA v3 protected via BestWebSoft plugin) Enter correct credentials and click the login button Nothing happens — button doesn't respond Disable Buster (or use InPrivate) → login works normally

Would be useful to know if others are seeing this, and whether there's a way to scope Buster's activity to avoid affecting the reCAPTCHA score on sites where it's not actively being used to solve a captcha.
