Discussion: OpenAI-compatible API proxy for regions with payment barriers

Hey folks,

A common challenge for developers outside the US/EU is accessing LLM APIs — not just latency, but the payment wall. Many developers in Southeast Asia and South Asia don't have Visa/Mastercard, making it impossible to pay for API credits on most platforms.

We built a lightweight OpenAI-compatible proxy that:

• Maintains full API compatibility (swap base_url in 1 line)
• Accepts Wise bank transfer (no credit card needed)
• Routes through low-latency infrastructure (Kunming international gateway, reduced 40%+ latency)
