Miscrosoft Excel does not save a backup copy when saving into vault

Summary

Since updating to Cryptomator V1.7.5 Microsoft Excel Files do not save a backup copy (.xlk file) after being changed and saved. Before the last Cryptomator update (V1.7.0 => V1.7.5) this was working (I had older .xlk files in my vault, from previous Cryptomator versions).

What software is involved?

• Operating System: Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2846)
• Cryptomator: V1.7.5 (msi install)
• Microsoft Office 365

Steps to Reproduce

1. An Excel File is created and saved in an existing Cryptomator Vault folder
2. Upon saving the option "Save backup copy" is ticked (tools => general options)
3. The file is opened and changes in the file are being performed.
4. The file is saved again after making changes (either via the save button or via closing and selecting "save changes")

Expected Behavior

The Cryptomator Vault folder should contain two files:

1. "TEST.xlsx"
2. "BackupCopy of TEST.xlk"

Actual Behavior

The Cryptomator Vault folder contains only one file:

1. "TEST.xlsx"
