Gap
We have seo-audit and ai-seo but no local SEO skill. Found in Rezvani's claude-skills (MIT, local-seo-manager) — a clean gap for any business with a physical presence or service area.
Scope (new skill local-seo)
- Google Business Profile — optimization (categories, services, description, photos, posts, Q&A)
- NAP consistency — name/address/phone across the web; citation cleanup
- Local citations & directories — where to list (ties to
directory-submissions) - Reviews — generation, response, and rating strategy as a local ranking + conversion lever
- Map-pack ranking factors — proximity, relevance, prominence; what actually moves the 3-pack
- Local landing / location pages — service-area + city pages (ties to
programmatic-seo,site-architecture) - Local schema — LocalBusiness / GeoCoordinates markup (ties to
schema)
Boundaries / related
seo-audit (general technical/on-page), ai-seo (AI-search visibility), schema (LocalBusiness markup), directory-submissions (citations), programmatic-seo (location pages at scale), site-architecture (location page structure). Local/GBP/map-pack is the net-new part.
Notes
Gap via competitive research (Rezvani claude-skills, MIT) — author from scratch, credit in PR. New skill = repo minor (y) bump.
