Academic Research Request: Inquiring about API Client Credentials

I am an undergraduate researcher from the College of Education at Zhejiang University of Technology, China.

Our Research Project: We are working on a project titled "Game-based Stealth Assessment of Computational Thinking: Research on a Diagnostic Model based on Evidence-Centered Design (ECD)". The goal is to analyze students' behavioral logs (like code snapshots, modification sequences, and debugging actions) in a programming learning environment to automatically assess their computational thinking skills.

Our Purpose: To collect the necessary data from our classroom, we need to use the official CodeCombat API. Based on the API documentation, we understand that client credentials (CLIENT_ID and CLIENT_SECRET) are required for this purpose. We are currently unable to locate a direct self-service portal to apply for these credentials.

Our Request: Could you please guide us on how to properly apply for an API Client ID and Secret for our academic research? We are prepared to provide any details about our project, such as the research plan or data protection protocols, to support our application. Any guidance on the specific steps or the department to contact would be highly appreciated.
