#14219 Configuring Providers, missing API key and Connect Button

I am using a beta version of Cline

What happened?

API Configuration can not be done with one click on Connect. Also, Ollama (local) requires an API key, although that is not necessary.

Steps to reproduce

Connect + Disconnect button trigger

Same steps as below, just configure any API Provider and click connect. If your button release is quick or slow enough, it will instantly click the then appearing Disconnect Button. So in the end nothing happened. So both buttons, Connect and Disconnect are clicked at once.

Solution: Hold the click, mouse the mouse out of the Disconnect button to release.

Missing Ollama (local) API Key

Select Ollama as API Provider in Settings
Leave API field empty
Click on Connect
Open a chat session and chat, result:

Missing API key for provider "ollama". Add credentials in Settings, or switch providers

Solution: Entry any API Key, such as 1234
