Can’t subscribe to PeerTube channel from PeerTube account

Describe the current behavior

I’m unable to subscribe to new PeerTube channels from my PeerTube account. I am already subscribed to some channels, so it was functional at some point. I have tried to subscribe to a few new accounts on different servers, so it’s not related to a specific instance.

The subscribe button itself appears to function, but the subscription never arrives in my subscription list. No videos in my subscriptions feed and no account in the manage-subscriptions view.

Steps to reproduce

1. While logged-into an account on one instance, click the subscription button for an account on another instance.
2. View subscriptions feed.
3. View manage-subscriptions view.

Also, I have tried subscribing in the following ways:

• Click the subscribe button
• Click the arrow next to the subscribe button and choose “subscribe with your local account”
• Click the subscribe button from all the views where it appears: the account page, the channel page, and a video page

Describe the expected behavior

After subscribing to a new account, I expect to see the videos in my feed and the account listed in my subscriptions.
