[UX & Cognitive Load] Proposal for visual formatting and responsive error feedback in Chatbox UI

Hi Chatbox Team!
First of all, thank you for developing such a clean and accessible desktop/mobile AI client!
I evaluated the current Chatbox UI/UX through the lens of Cognitive Psychology and User Experience Design, focusing on how users absorb AI-generated information during long sessions.
Here are 2 practical suggestions to lower cognitive friction and build better user trust:
1. Visual Hierarchy for Dense AI Responses (Cognitive Load Reduction)
- Observation: When receiving long or multi-paragraph responses from LLMs, the uniform visual layout creates high visual density.
- Suggestion: Introduce subtle visual separation (such as slightly highlighted callout cards for code snippets/key takeaways, or custom line-height spacing controls). Reducing visual density directly minimizes cognitive fatigue during reading.
2. Actionable Feedback on API/Network Errors (User Friction)
- Observation: Generic connectivity or API key error prompts can cause confusion for non-technical users.
- Suggestion: Replace generic status prompts with clear, actionable microcopy (e.g., providing a direct 1-click retry button alongside specific suggestions like "Verify API limits" or "Check VPN/Network"). Clear guidance retains user trust when errors occur.
I would be glad to provide further UX design mockups or help review user flows if the team is interested!
Keep up the great work!
